Nova’s Son.

February 23, 2013 By Burke 1 Comment

Bedtime “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Novas” stories are being told by a drunkard to his son, old war stories that have become just “stories” to Sam. Time to introduce Rocket Raccoon.

Well, Nova #1 is a winner. I know, I know. I sound like a broken record, but I can’t help it if most of the Marvel NOW! books are so good! Jeph Loeb pulled me in, and I don’t even care about the Novas. How is that even possible? With sharp art from Ed McGuinness, that’s how. Yes, I answered my own question, so what.

Let’s just applaud the whole crew that worked on this book. I’d like to thank Jeph Loeb for his adventurous writing style, Ed McGuinness for his action packed art, Dexter Vines for some…I’ll be honest, I really don’t even know what the inker does since this book has a colorist also, but damn! Marte Gracia threw in some bright and vibrant colors. Very cosmic.
