Synopsis for “The Monster and the Mystic!”

Hulk is unconscious so Doctor Druid must face Mongu on his own! The mystic dodges from the gladiator’s hatchet but is knocked out by Maha Yogui’s mental beam. Hulk and Druid are bonded to strong chains that release electric shocks if they move. Druid enters the Hulk’s mind and triggers the transformation. Bruce Banner sleeps through the chains and unties the mystic. But when they try escaping from the cell, Mongu is waiting for them. The shaggy giant takes both to his master who wants a Hulk Vs Mongu battle on the palace’s arena! Banner is not willing to turn into his mightier persona so he’s given an axe to face the cosmic gladiator. The physicist dodges Mongu’s attacks. But eventually Hulk shows up. Green Skin proves stronger so Maha uses his Jewel of Jeopardy to feed power onto his goon. Mongu starts turning the table onto his side. But Yogui’s spell on Druid weakens. So the bald mystic moves a robe to strike the stone out from Maha’s hand. Mongu tries to catch it but Hulk’s knocks him out of the away. Green Skin grabs the stone and turns it to dust! Since that gem kept Yogui alive for centuries, he ages rapidly and falls to the arena. The public leaves the showplace deserting Yogui. But the loyal Mongu holds his master, barely alive, on his arms and takes him away. Meanwhile, Thunderbolt Ross reads the farewell letter from his daughter Betty Ross telling that she has decided to leave him, the base and her past in search for a new life. And Jim Wilson is left by a truck driver in New York, where the Constrictor is waiting for him.
