Synopsis for “A Coffin for Spider-Man!”
Moon Knight interrupts a robbery and, with the help of Frenchie in the Moon-Chopper, makes off with the loot, taking it to a waterfront warehouse where he leads a competition to become the new secretary of the National Crime Syndicate Directorate. The first to amass ten million in loot wins. At the Bugle. Peter stops by to sell JJJ some Spidey photos, but Jonah wants pictures of Moon Knight. Moon Knight and Frenchie return to Steven Grants mansion. The next night Moon Knight, as Grant, and Marlene attend a Met gala. One of the gangs breaks in to steal a ceremonial dagger. Moon Knight stops the robbery, but then steals the dagger. Spidey tries, but fails to stop him. Delivering the dagger. Moon Knight is told he needs to deliver Spidey’s corpse. Mob flunky Weasel follows Moon Knight, who knocks him out. Shortly after. Moon Knight apparently returns with Spidey’s body: actually the knocked-out Weasel in a Spidey costume. Just as the gang bosses realize the deception. Spidey shows up and helps Moon Knight capture all gang members.
