Halloween ComicFest at Cosmic Comics!

It’s that time of year again, Folks! Halloween ComicFest is fast approaching – Saturday Oct 26th.   We’re holding a full-on party all day long complete with food, giveaways, sales, face painting, FREE sketches from local artists from the ACC, and, of course, the Halloween ComicFest “The Greatest Halloween Costume Contest Ever!”

With Halloween just around the corner, it’s time to get sexy, get nerdy, and get spooky.  It’s Costume Contest time.  And this year, Cosmic Comics is participating in two.

So, while you’re trick-or-treating for free comic books, make sure to pick up your COSTUME CONTEST BUTTON.  This awesome Itty Bitty Hellboy button is your entry into a national online costume contest.

The rules are easy:

1. Pick up the button from Cosmic Comics.
2. Procure epic Halloween costume.
3. Take a picture in costume with the button, and post it at HERE.
4. Get votes online.
5. ???
6. Profit!!!

That’s great, but you have to wait until Nov. 15th to find out who wins.

So… Cosmic is having our own costume contest on Oct 26th – you win the same day and everything!

1. Kids (12 & Under) – Boys
2. Kids (12 & Under) – Girls
3. Adult – Comic & Nerd Culture
4. Adult – Classic Halloween & Classic Horror

Rules:

1. Contest Begins at 6:00 PM
2. You MUST be present to win.
3. Having an awesome time is essential.

We’re choosing a 1st and 2nd prize winner for each category – so we’ll have 8 winners in total.  Prizes are going to include: grab-bags, comics, plushies, trades and gift cards! Add that to sketches from local artists, free comic books, and a sweet party – this is going to be the best Halloween event (except for actual Halloween) EVER!
