Free Comic Book Day 2012 Avengers 1963 Give Away
This Free Comic Book Day, Cosmic Comics! will give away literally thousands of comic books to readers of all ages in the Las Vegas valley and in celebration of not only the day itself, but the release of Marvel’s The Avengers, Cosmic Comics! is very proud to be giving away an original copy of Avengers (1963) #1 to one of our lucky fans!

One lucky winner will walk away from Cosmic Comics! this coming Free Comic Book Day the proud owner of a comic book that a CGC 9.6 copy of sold for a record breaking quarter million dollars just a few months ago!
So how on Earth do you win?
Well, there will be a raffle held the evening of Free Comic Book Day right here at the Cosmic Comics! Las Vegas Comic Book Shop. There are a few ways to get your raffle tickets prior to FCBD and on the day itself. In fact, we’ve already had a few lucky fans receive raffle tickets for the big prize!
Your next opportunity to receive a raffle ticket for the Avengers (1963) #1 raffle will be at the Infinity Gauntlet Tounament this Saturday, April 21st!
The top three point earners of that night’s tournament will each receive a Free Comic Book Day Avengers #1 raffle ticket!

As for getting these Avengers #1 raffle tickets the day of FCBD, you have two options:
- Dress up as your favorite Avenger to get one raffle ticket
- Get one raffle ticket for every $30 you spend at the shop on FCBD
In addition to the Avengers #1 raffle, there will be a raffle every hour until close starting at 11AM and all you have to do to get a ticket for the hourly raffle is show up. There will be a total of ten different Avengers themed Silver Age prize packs up for the hourly raffles and each of them includes the following:
- All Avengers comics
- All comics over 25 years old
- At least one Silver Age Avengers comic book
- Total minimum value of at least $50
